About us
Delivering increased availability and scalability to enterprise applications
Architected to address the storage management and performance challenges encountered in increasingly dynamic and virtualized application environments, Sanbolic's host-based data management software (Melio) delivers enhanced application availability and scale to critical enterprise workloads including virtualization, VDI, SQL and file serving.
Sanbolic was founded 10 years ago to bring geographically distributed computing concepts to the storage layer. Fast forward to today, increasingly disparate physical , virtual and cloud workloads are magnifying an ever widening disconnect between application and storage topologies. Dynamic application performance and availability requirements are exposing the limitations of current storage solutions. Customers are demanding a more flexible and cost-effective approach to data management.
Melio augments a customer's existing IT infrastructure, creating a more application-aware shared storage architecture. Our software integrates extremely complex storage concepts, including clustered file system and volume management, rapid resource provisioning, and quality of service (QoS) into a workload, hypervisor and storage agnostic offering.
Seamlessly spanning multiple sites, Melio customers benefit from increased levels of infrastructure flexibility and responsiveness across their global IT footprint, while minimizing storage related cost and complexity.
Founded in 2000 and located in Waltham, MA, Sanbolic is focused exclusively on delivering increased levels of availability and scale to critical enterprise workloads, while decreasing cost and management complexity. Spanning SMBs to the Fortune 100, more than 600 customers around the world have successfully deployed Sanbolic's Melio platform.
